Websites + Landing Pages

By the time a prospective customer reaches out to set up that demo or inquire about pricing, they’re 60% of the way to a buying decision.

Why? Because they’ve read all about your company and your product on your website or landing page.

That’s why it’s vital that your web copy makes a great first impression!

After learning all about your business and your customers, I’ll create the structure and outline for your website. Once that’s finalized, I’ll write copy that joins the conversation going on in people’s heads and persuades them to take action.

With a strong website or landing page, your company will make a great first impression! And you’ll be well on your way to stronger connections and more sales.

SUCCESS STORY: A WEBSITE THAT CONNECTS WITH PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS

JumpRope — an edtech company that created a standards-based gradebook — came to me for new website copy. They were in the process of rebranding and were about to release the 2.0 version of their product, so it was time to revamp the site.

I proposed starting with customer research in order to understand how current customers talk and think about JumpRope's gradebook. The insights we gained from that research drove the messaging and copy across the entire site.

Working as close partners with the branding agency and marketing strategist, I wrote the copy for all 9 website pages. JumpRope leaders loved the first draft overall, and we finalized the copy easily.

The result? JumpRope now has a website that they feel reflects their company and product well.

And their ideal customers can immediately see that JumpRope can help them monitor and communicate students' progress.

We found Erika while in the beginning stages of our rebrand, and I’m so glad we did! She rewrote our entire website. Even the first draft was really, really good and really close. And I’m so happy with the final version!

Erika’s process is great. Rather than jumping right into writing copy, she convinced us that we needed to start by understanding how our customers speak about our product. I’m really pleased that we started with the customers like that — it’s so much better than where we’ve always started in the past (our own opinions and ideas). I can really see the voice of the customer coming through in the copy — that’s really exciting and makes for a much stronger result.
